  1. WinRamp Lite 1.00b Installation Instructions

  4. It is highly recommended that you use the INSTALL.EXE program to install
  5. WinRamp. This will go a long way to preventing a lot of potential setup
  6. problems.

  8. Installation Steps
  9. ------------------
  10. 1. Check that you have all the files required to install and run WinRamp
  11. Lite 1.00b. A detailed file list can be found in PACKING.LST
  12.  
  13. 2. From within Windows Program Manager:
  14.  
  15.     NB! Consult you Windows documentation if you are unsure of how to
  16.     operate the Windows Program Manager.
  17.  
  18.     a.  Start Microsoft Windows
  19.     b.  From the File menu, choose Run
  20.     c.  Type  <uncompressed files path>\INSTALL.EXE, and press ENTER
  21.     b.  Follow the setup up program's on-screen prompts and
  22.         instructions. It is HIGHLY recommended that you install WinRamp
  23.         into the SAME directory as the decompressed files.
  24.     c.  A WinRamp Lite group will automatically be opened.
  25.     d.  Be sure to read the file "Read Me First!" for any last minute
  26.         instructions regarding running WinRamp Lite. i.e.  Run WinRamp
  27.         Lite like you would any other Windows application.
